Water Pressure

Sterling Ranch homes have an internal PRV that needs to be periodically adjusted based on the homeowner's desired settings.

The PRV (pressure-reducing valve) is inside; by adjusting it, you can get the pressures to match the street.  Adjusting the PRV clockwise increases the pressure.

A pressure-reducing valve is typically close to your water shutoff valve. You’ll know you’re looking at the valve because it will have a gauge nearby. Inside the valve, there are a spring and diaphragm. These two elements interact with incoming water pressure, either contracting or enlarging the hole your water ultimately passes through.
