An important way of preserving the character of the community is to ensure that any changes to the exterior of individual properties are consistent with the community’s aesthetics and harmonious with surrounding properties. Residents are required to abide by the Sterling Ranch Code of Rules Guidebook and all other Sterling Ranch governing documents. The Architectural & Community Standards team is here to help residents navigate the requirements.
Any change to the exterior of the home or on the lot must be submitted to the Design Review Committee and written approval obtained before any work is started.
Please refer to the Design Review Documents for assistance when completing your outdoor projects such as landscaping, play or sports equipment, solar panels, patio covers, deck extensions, etc.
Each property owner within Sterling Ranch agreed at time of purchase to comply with community rules and regulation. These rules and regulations are designed to enhance the quality, value, desirability, and attractiveness of all property. The CAB has adopted non-compliance procedures to help enforce the community rules and regulations.
Landscape classes are available throughout the year to learn more about the design review process and requirements. View the class schedule and sign up for a class.
The Community Authority Board (CAB) is the governing body for the Sterling Ranch. The CAB is also a partner with the community for the preservation of a unique and sustainable lifestyle. The CAB has several governing documents designed to support the nature of Sterling Ranch. These are all found in the Sterling Ranch Code of Rules document.
